Started in 2023. Built by people who have been doing this since the nineties.
Castman Technologies is a proprietary concern operating an aluminium high pressure die casting plant near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The company is young — the first fully automatic TOYO press was commissioned in 2023 — but the people running it are not.
Between our proprietor, business head and plant head sits 68 years of die casting experience. That combination is deliberate: a new plant, specified from scratch with modern process control, run by engineers who already know where castings go wrong.
We are certified to ISO 9001:2015, and we have chosen to invest in melt quality instrumentation — spectrometry, interlocked degassing, reduced pressure testing — ahead of raw tonnage. The machines will follow. The discipline came first.
Vision, mission and the one rule underneath both
To be a trusted partner for our customers, employees and communities — contributing to their growth and success while maintaining the highest standards of technology, ethics and environmental responsibility.
- Continuously improving our systems, processes and technology
- Maintaining a challenging work culture, and harmony within it
- Delivering exceptional value and cost-effective, high-quality products through world-class manufacturing practice
- Building impactful individual, environmental and social responsibility
Put customers and employees first. Support them with technology.
Everything else in the plant — the spectrometer, the interlocks, the simulation software — exists to serve those two groups.
Three people. Sixty-eight years.
A flat structure by design — when you call about a part, you reach someone who can decide.

Twenty-five people, clearly assigned
Small enough that everyone knows the part they are running; structured enough that quality, maintenance and production each have an owner.
Above the floor sits a three-person leadership team — proprietor, business head and plant head — supported by an HR and admin function. Below them, manufacturing, quality, maintenance and product development each run as their own line, so accountability never blurs.

Every year, one more thing we no longer outsource
Our investment pattern is deliberate: bring in-house whatever most affects quality or lead time, in that order.
Plant commissioned
250 T TOYO BD‑V7EX press, 500 kg electric furnace, rotary degassing, OES spectrometer, die coat mixer, EOT crane and inspection instruments — installed together, not piecemeal.
Capacity and finishing
350 T TOYO press with squeeze pin and jet cooling, 500 kg gas furnace with servo burner, 450 kg × 4 LPG plant, plus shot blasting and CNC turning brought in-house.
Precision and scale
20 T hydraulic trimming press and a 2D height master, plus a fourth press — 400 T fully automatic TOYO — scheduled through the year.
Machining and metrology
Brother Speedio S700Bd2 VMC machining centre (Mar 2027) and a Mitutoyo CMM, taking finishing and dimensional verification fully in-house.
